We collect only what we need to provide our services:
- Contact information you give us - email address (when you sign up for early access), name and phone (when you become a customer), business details (company name, service area, team size).
- Account and usage data - login records, feature usage, support interactions. Used to operate the product and improve it.
- Customer data you put into the product - your jobs, customers, invoices, photos, notes. This belongs to you. We store and process it on your behalf.
- Technical data - IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited. Standard server logs and analytics.
2. How We Use It
- To run the services you signed up for.
- To notify you about product launches, releases, and important changes.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To improve and secure our services (debugging, fraud prevention, capacity planning).
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your customer data with third parties for their marketing.
- We do not use your customer data to train AI models without your explicit permission.
4. Service Providers
We use trusted providers to deliver Darko.AI. They process data only on our instructions and under written agreements. Current providers include:
- Cloudflare - hosting, content delivery, security.
- Supabase - database and authentication.
- Stripe - payment processing (when applicable).
- Twilio - SMS and voice (when applicable).
- Anthropic and Google - AI model inference (your data is sent only when an AI feature is invoked).
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and the site functioning. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers. If we add analytics, it will be privacy-focused (such as Plausible or self-hosted) and disclosed here.
6. Data Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active and for up to 30 days after cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons. You can request immediate deletion at any time.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location (California, EU, UK and others), you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information.
- Export your information in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.

8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
9. Children
Darko.AI is built for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have, we delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the site. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
